Natty Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

The client acknowledges that he/she is voluntarily participating in the activity or event organized by The Natty Picnic Co. He/she understands and agrees that during the event of said activity or event, he/she bears all risks and assume all injuries, illnesses, or damage that may occur or result from using services provided by The Natty Picnic Co. as well as its representative (Jackie Frank) and staff shall not be held liable relating to whatever cause or risk of any kind, which may suffer therein. The client agrees to release and discharge The Natty Picnic Co. as well as its representative (Jackie Frank) and staff from any and all claims or causes of action known or unknown arising out of his/her own acts as well as of others’. He/she also agrees to waive any right or entitlement to bring legal action against The Natty Picnic Co. as well as its representative (Jackie Frank) and staff for all causes of actions, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and compensation for damage to himself/herself. He/she shall abide by the laws of Ontario while participating in the activity or event and carry his/her own health insurance. In the event that he/she should require medical care or treatment, he/she agrees to be financially responsible for all related costs as a result of such care or treatment.

PAYMENT

The client agrees to pay a $50 booking deposit to hold the date and time of his/her picnic, and understands that the picnic is to be paid in full prior to his/her picnic. If payment is not received at least one week prior to the scheduled picnic date, the booking will automatically be marked as cancelled and the client understands that he/she will lose the $50 booking deposit.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

The client understands that full refunds are only available when a picnic is cancelled at least one week prior to its scheduled date. He/she agrees to forfeit 50% of his/her payment if he/she decides to cancel within the week of his/her scheduled picnic date. For cancellations on the day of his/her scheduled picnic, the client understands that no refunds are available and he/she loses his/her payment entirely.

In the event that it rains on the date of the client’s scheduled picnic, he/she has the option to reschedule to a later date at no additional cost if no food add-ons have been ordered. If food add-ons have been ordered, the client agrees to give notice of rescheduling at least three days in advance.

For non-weather-related rescheduling requests, he/she agrees to pay an additional $50 fee if he/she decides to reschedule within the week of his/her scheduled picnic date. For rescheduling on the day of the client’s scheduled picnic, he/she understands that no refunds are available, he/she loses his/her payment entirely, and he/she would need to make a new booking instead.

LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS

The client understands that he/she is responsible for arriving to the picnic on time. Late arrival time will account towards the total time of his/her picnic. No extra time will be reimbursed.

An hour lateness counts as a no-show. The client understands that no refunds are available and that he/she loses his/her payment entirely.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

The client agrees to adhere to the laws of Ontario for the consumption of alcohol in public spaces. In the event that his/her guest(s) or he/she chooses to defy and consume his/her own alcoholic beverage(s), he/she is responsible for all legal consequences.

SMOKING

Should the client smoke while attending a Natty Picnic Co. event, he/she or his/her guest(s) are responsible for the potential incurred cleaning fees and/or other damage costs (see damage deposit).

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

The client agrees to be responsible for taking good care of picnic items and decorations prepared by The Natty Picnic Co. In the case of damage, loss, or theft, he/she understands that the $50 damage deposit fee will then become non-refundable. If the damage or loss supersedes the deposit, he/she agrees to pay for the full retail cost of said item(s).
